Yes, we accept Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Health Care, Cigna, and Aetna. We also accept private pay.
In the event that you need to cancel OR reschedule your session you should contact me by email or by phone at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment time. If you do not provide a 24-hr notice the card on file will be charged a $50 fee. In the event that the card on file is declined you will be unable to schedule another session until the balance is paid. If you cancel or reschedule more than 3 appointments without 24-hour notice your services will be terminated.
After 15 minutes it is considered late to your session it is considered a “no show”. If you reach out to the clinician and confirm that you will be late to session and at the 15-minute mark you aren’t present it is considered a “no show”. A “no show” is treated as a late cancellation and you will be charged a $50 no show fee. In the event the card on file is declined you will be unable to schedule a future session until the balance is paid.
The initial intake session can last up to 90 minutes long. Regular sessions last 50 minutes. If you are interested in shorter sessions this must be discussed with clinician prior to that session being scheduled.
There is no set time for how long therapy can last. Progress in therapy is depends on your consistency, motivation, and commitment to change. Initially weekly sessions are recommended and then dropping down to bi-weekly as you progress. In the event that you feel you would like to meet more frequently than once a week you and Ashley will identify a schedule that best fits your needs.
No, I do not prescribe medication, but I do offer referrals for providers who can and with your consent I will work collaboratively with the provider to ensure your needs are met.
As a licensed professional of the state of North Carolina, Ashley cannot disclose any information about you without written consent. The exceptions include, you threaten to harm yourself or someone else, there is suspicion of child, dependent adult, or elder abuse. In the event your insurance company requests information in regard to treatment or Ashley is subpoenaed she will speak with you before providing information and she will always try to do what is in the best interest of you.
